Queets Fish Processing Facility
Quinault Indian Nation, Queets, WA

The Queets Fish Processing Plant is a 4,400 SF pre-engineered metal building structure with loading bays, overhead door, concrete retaining walls, continuous run metal roofing panels with no joints, office, lunch, toilet rooms, and a maintenance and loading bay.  The building system was designed by the metal building system manufacturer.

The processing building is an excellent investment in the current generation of fishermen at Queets but more importantly an investment in the future generations of the Queets community.

This 100% EDA-funded project is a clear and visible example of Economic Development Administration's ability to fund valuable and rational projects.  Harthorne Hagen Architects' experience and professional abilities have been well received by Stan Good, EDA Project Engineer.

Our firm's involvement in the project's development and construction for the past three years reflects Harthorne Hagen's dedication and commitment to the Queets Community and the Quinault Indian Nation.
